Privacy Policy

Solis is designed to keep personal app data on your device wherever possible. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information Stored On Your Device

Solis may store your name, skin type, sunscreen preference, theme preference, reminder settings, saved places, and session history locally using app storage on your device.

Location, Weather, And Map Data

If you allow location access, Solis uses your approximate device location to request local UV, weather, and map information through Apple services such as Core Location, MapKit, geocoding, and WeatherKit. If you enter a city manually, Solis uses Apple geocoding and WeatherKit to look up forecast information for that city.

Third-Party Analytics And Advertising

This build of Solis does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, account sign-in, or tracking code. Solis does not sell your data.

Data Sharing

Solis does not send your local session history, saved places, name, skin type, or preferences to a Solis-operated server. Apple services may process location, map, geocoding, weather, and diagnostics data according to Apple's own privacy practices.

Your Choices

You can revoke location permission at any time in iOS Settings. You can clear session history inside Solis, remove saved cities from the app, and delete the app to remove local app data from your device.

Children

Solis is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Safety

Solis provides informational UV exposure estimates only. It is not a medical device and must not be used to diagnose, treat, prevent, or provide protection from sunburn, skin damage, heat illness, or skin cancer.
